About Isobelle
Isobelle Austin is a London-based cellist and composer. She writes classical-cinematic music guided by synesthesia — her experience of sound as colour, light, texture, and movement. Painting with sound through rich harmonies and deeply expressive cello tones, she creates pieces that take the listener on an immersive emotional journey.

She studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she was awarded the Solo Bach Prize for Strings, before building a career in London across live performance and session work. She has performed at the BRIT Awards, Glastonbury, St Paul's Cathedral, the Royal Albert Hall, and Kings Place, alongside artists including Andrea Bocelli, Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams, Maribou State, S. Carey of Bon Iver, and Peter Sandberg. Session credits include Vivaldi's Summer for Netflix's One Day, and recording Brian May's guitar solo on cello for Sam Ryder's orchestral version of Fought & Lost.
Alongside her session career, she began writing her own music in 2023. During her most difficult times, music became a place of healing and reconnection; she now creates with that same intention. Listeners describe her work as immersive and transportive — something that helps them process difficult emotions and return to themselves, lighter and more connected.
Sun On My Skin is her debut original single, the first in a series of releases leading to her debut album.
